Honeycutt takes single venture into next generation and beyond

Roy Honeycutt had no idea it would turn out this way. Back in 1976 he started his rodeo company, Honeycutt Rodeo Inc. As a former rodeo contestant and producer, all he did was take the things he liked and incorporated them into his own outfit.

Its not just Roy these days. Its his wife Virginia and their children, Jerry, Scott, Janet, and their families. Right down to Roy and Virginia s grandsons, Tell 15, Orrin 12, Dawson 3 yrs and newborn Riley. Everyone has a job!

Honeycutt Rodeo Inc. has been chosen 23 times since 1979 to provide their top bucking horses and bulls for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Roy and his family take great pleasure in watching their livestock buck and a good ride from the cowboy.

Honeycutt Rodeo Inc. has around 200 horses and 40 bulls on their 3,000-acre ranch in southern Colorado and takes pride in raising some of the best stock in the rodeo business. Four generations of horses can be seen running the high plains of the Alamosa Colorado ranch, waiting their turn to show what they've got.
